DUBAI: The Yemeni armed forces foiled a Houthi militia attack in the Ham Mountains of the Al-Muttoun district, west of Al-Jouf province ,on Sunday, Saudi state news agency SPA reported.
In a statement on the Yemeni armed forces official site “September 26,” a military source said that the fighting between the two sides resulted in the killing and wounding of several militants, as well as the destruction of a combat vehicle.
He added that the violent clashes continued in Al-Maslub directorate, within the same province, as the militia suffered losses of men and equipment and one of its members was captured.
In the Nahm district, east of Sanaa, Arab coalition fighters intensified their raids on positions of the Iran-backed Houthi militia amid ongoing battles.
